In the early- to mid-twentieth century, many esteemed music and movement experts in Europe and Asia were focused on developing methodologies to foster music and movement appreciation and abilities in children. The list of those who were critical forces in making the Kindermusik curriculum what it is today includes Carl Orff, Shin’ichi Suzuki, Zoltan Kodaly, Rudolf Laban, and Emile Jacques-Dalcroze.
